Adam is 3 months today

Adam closes the short month of February as an official 3 month old. And a lot of good things have happened to him. He continues to feel better from the medicine that combats his acid reflux. Elizabeth still loves him and can frequently be heard asking at the sound of his crying, "What's the matter little guy?"

This is what Adam is up to at 3 months:
- Laughing and screaming
- Loves hanging out without clothes on
- Eating his hands and blankets
- Watching Elizabeth playing
- Avoiding naps
- Protesting bottles (which made for long days when mom went back to work on Monday)

Big Smile

Adam is a much happier baby with a bit of medication in his body. He also slept 10 hours last night, which has left him feeling chipper for the day. I had to wake up three or four times just to make sure he was breathing.

First Names

Elizabeth definitely keeps us entertained. In the last two months, she has become really interested in using our first names. Here are some lines we have heard in our house recently (keep in mind that they are coming from a two year old.)

"How was your day Mr. Grant?"
"Adam is puking, Samantha."
"I love you Joshua"
"Move over, Samantha is coming in."

This morning when I left Elizabeth at daycare, she said, "Bye Samantha." What a little goof.

Guess Who My Daddy Is

No denying that Adam is a Grant.

Breastfeeding Toddler

Babies spend a lot of time eating, so Elizabeth is stuck entertaining me during nursing sessions. She nurses her babies at the same time. This morning, she told me, "I feed Elmo from my breast." Too funny- she has also tried to feed her brother, but her "special" milk doesn't seem to do the trick!
