16 Months Old!

Happy 16 months baby!

Here's what you're up to:
- Talking up a storm. You've started to put two word combinations together.
- Climbing on everything- your dad has started to put the chairs in our bedroom.
- Playing with Elmo
- Reading books
- Playing outside any chance that you get
- Staying as close to mommy as possible
- Loving the two new babies at daycare- you're always talking about Norah and Hudson
- Being a lovable, sassy little baby

We love you!

My New Man

Move over babies, there is a new object of Elizabeth's affection...Elmo. In the past two weeks, Elmo has overthrown the coveted position of favorite in the eyes of our 15 month old. Elmo comes everywhere with us, eats at his own table (and gets left overs), and constantly brings a smile to Elizabeth's face. The one problem with Elmo- he talks. Thank you Sosallas for blessing and cursing us with this gift. I'm crossing my fingers that the batteries will go soon, but I have a feeling that I'll replace them because the little red guy makes her so happy. In his defense, Elmo has some admirable traits- he convinces Elizabeth to put on her clothes and get her diapers changed.

Wrestling Over!

The Grant girls are happy to announce that wrestling is officially over... although Josh somehow neglected to tell us that he has a wrestling event next Saturday. We are happy to have him home and are looking forward to some nice spring weather, so we all can get out. Congrats to Luke for placing 5th in the state tournament.

We will post soon...

Sorry for the lack of posts lately...life gets especially crazy during the end of wrestling. This weekend, Sam and Elizabeth traveled to Eden Prairie to celebrate Toni and Matt's wedding. (The couple eloped in November.) Elizabeth had fun spending time with her family- especially "papa." We also went to Underwater World, and Elizabeth had her first exposure to the Mall of America. Other than a huge bump to the forehead, the weekend went well.

Four more days left of the wrestling season!
