Rock Star Sleeper

Last night Adam slept from 9:30-5:20. What a little rock star.

We bought him a new bed that allows him to sleep upright. Pictures to come, but I didn't want to ruin a good thing last night.

2 Months Old

Today Adam is two months old! Yesterday we went for his check-up, and he is a whopping 12 lbs 12 oz and 23.5 inches. He is in the 70% for height and weight.

Adam also got diagnosed with reflux and is on a new prescription. We're hoping this makes him a bit more comfortable and calms some of his fussy periods. It's hard to know if it's working yet, as shots were not well received by the sensitive guy. He cried big alligator tears, and then proceeded to scream like his skin was burning if I took him off my chest yesterday. As I held him, he whimpered like a dog all day! My little sensitive boy...must have gotten that from your dad!!!

Other than punctuating our lives with screams, Adam is busy exploring his hands and watching his big sister play. He loves the commotion that she brings into the environment except for when it's time to eat.

Happy 2 months little guy!

Styling

I'm so excited to have little boy clothing. I love the shirts and cargo pants! Adam was styling this weekend in his big boy clothes. And in very exciting news, Adam has started to sleep more like a human being. Over the past week he has logged 4-7 hour stretches at night. We are so excited to feel rested.
Elizabeth has a flair for fashion already. She got some fun presents from her cousins Benjamin and Carly and decided to dress up. This weekend she also found her pink rubber boots in the basement and wore them the entire weekend (we in fact had to have a discussion about why you can't sleep with boots on.) This morning she insisted on wearing them to daycare even though her snow boots were more appropriate. I hope she still likes them once the weather gets a bit warmer.

Vocabulary

New phrases in Elizabeth's toolbox:

"Leave me alone Mommy."
"I don't want to talk to you."
"Give me some space."

Gotta love 2 year olds!

Smiles

Even with a bald forehead, these smiles are so precious.
